Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actress for many years. Her name is well-known due to the roles she played in the film industry and on television. She is popular on both Canadian as well as American television. Emily began acting at 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. When Emily realized her love for acting, she took training in acting classes and went to auditions. She was initially cast in a couple of commercials before getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Scared of Darkness? In one single scene she appeared without speaking a word. The first time she was seen on screen was at the age of 15, when she got a role on the series of the WB called Glory Days as a regular. Emily's appearance on the WB show Glory Days, which was canceled after nine episodes, attracted the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and also took up photography. Teen listed her as the top young actress. Maxim placed her at number 51 in its Hot 100 of 2014.
